Our aim is to engage & uplift our community & encourage sustainable creativity by being an accessible second-hand resource for creative materials and affordable workshops.

Hi! I’m Shay. I’ve been passionate about reuse, thrifting, making art and music, and community gathering for as long as I can remember! I spent 5+ years working for a nonprofit Creative Reuse Center called SCRAP back in Denton, Texas before moving to Boise in 2020, and I seriously loved everything about it. Since 2021 I've been working towards opening my own art supply thrift store here in Boise. I’ve been acquiring material donations and operating an online store as well as doing sporadic pop-up markets. And now, I have finally secured a Brick + Mortar space to call Cats Eye home. Our new storefront is located at 1747 S. Broadway Ave. Boise, ID 83706
